The Full Float Renter Set also includes a detailed pinning manual for
renters. You will use this set if you are renting time on your own
Longarm or Shortarm Quilting Machine or use it at a Rental Center that
uses The Quick Zip System Full Float Machine Sets.
Note: You will use the Full Float Sets to pin your quilts or rent your
machines if you attach only the backing fabric to the rollers but, do not
attach the quilt top to a zipper or a roller bar, letting the bottom edge
of the quilt top hang to the floor. If you use this method, you will need
to make sure that the quit top and the backing material have the same
tension as you advance and quilt the quilt. You will also need to make
sure that the piecing and the borders of the quilt top come up evenly
as you quilt.

The easiest way to load a quilt onto a long arm.
I learned to quilt on a rental. The owner used the zipper system. It made it so very easy to load. I had a zipper and the rental had a zipper. I never pin my zippers. I basted both zipper sides to the top and bottom of the back, then zip them on when I'd get to the rental. When I got my own long arm, I continued the process, buying 2 zippers. I attached one zipper to the leaders and baste the other onto the top and bottom of the back. Works like a charm. When quilting is done, just rip the zippers off (remember, they were basted on)!!
